Welcome to my website. Here you will find information about my flameworked glass jewellery, including how I make my beads, where you can purchase my work and how you can learn to make your own beads. My contemporary jewellery is made using beads I make in an oxygen/propane flame using Venetian 'lampwork' and blown glass techniques believed to have originated in 16th & 17th century. I often work to commission, please contact me or come and visit a show if you'd like to discuss a special piece.
My work is available at 'top of the range' contemporary design & craft shows and galleries in the South East of England. I now have shows booked for 2021. Please contact me to join my mailing list for up to date information about future shows. You can also follow me on Instagram @anniemccabeglass where I add my latest news and new work.
My next show is at Pashley Manor Gardens, Ticehurst, Sussex, TN5 7HE over the August Bank holiday weekend 28 - 30 Aug. The combination of beautiful gardens and some of the best craft/design work in the south east will make a great day out. Entry to the gardens and the show is £10.50 tickets are available on the day, no need to book in advance.
A selection of my work is available for purchase in my 'Shop' above and a wider range of work is available at the Sussex Guild Shop in Lewes, East Sussex and in The Sussex Guild’s online shop: thesussexguild.co.uk/the-sussex-guild-shop/
